I think it makes a lot more sense to get a DP-32SD as long as one can live without a MIDI port (clue: You can use AUX2 for sync if you have an old tape sync compatible device around) and CD burner. Having 12 instead of 6 stereo tracks is good for things like printing reverb for individual sounds, and having 20 instead of 18 total tracks means one is less likely to hit the wall in terms of free tracks.
