Cubasis doesn‘t get input signal from Tascam Model 24

Hi, i am trying to use the Model24 as an audio interface with an iPad and Cubasis 3 as DAW but
Cubasis doesn‘t get input signal from Tascam Model 24

I can route the output of the cubasis tracks to the different channels of the Tascam Model 24.

Environment
Tascam Model 24: Fw Vers. 1.63 0095
USB A to USB B —> original Apple Camera Kit Adapter —> Lightning to Apple iPad
Apple iPad: 7th generation, iPadOS 18.4 (22E240)
Cubasis 3: Ver. 3.7.5

Has anybody an idea what i am making wrong?

The only problem I see is your lack of familiarity with the Block Diagram and the implementation instructions for the M24 - both of which are available to you. You must learn your gear (all of it) inside & out before you can effectively use it in your workflow.

I don't use any of the Model series mixers, but I may be able to help susse this out with you if you'll provide more information.

So that I have a frame of reference and can follow along with the things you've already tried, please tell us:
* Which of the relevant interface videos you've watched in the "Tutorial and Informational Videos For Model 24/16/12" sticky thread at the top of this forum;

* Which of the interface posts you've read in the "Production Tips" sticky thread; and

* The steps in the Owner Manual you've already followed in conjunction with the signal flow shown in the Block Diagram (as @shredd mentioned above).

Sharing that information will save us a lot of time by identifying things that should have worked but didn't, so we can zero in on the "why nots?".
