Hello! I transferred 3 tracks from my DP-32SD onto my laptop and 1 of them is empty. I transferred the empty one again, same thing, there is audio I can hear on the Tascam. I am completely clueless here as to what is going on.

By what process did you "transfer" the tracks? Did you use the export-to-Audio-Depot function?

If you used the Audio Depot, I wouldn't characterize you as "clueless" by any means.

It sounds like you know how to select and export tracks properly. The only thing I can think of right off is that somehow, you are not selecting that last track with the audio you need.

It might sound silly, but, I would just select all the available tracks and export them and take a listen to each one to figure out what's what. But if all you have recorded is 3 tracks and 1 is blank, then, I'm the one who's clueless.

Hmmm I definitely selected the track both times, it just doesn’t have any audio on it on my computer. I’ll try coping the track to another track and transferring that.

I copied the track to a different track and imported that, still no audio. I love this machine but I don’t enjoy getting stuck like this especially when I’m precisely following the manual.

Just because you can.....

Try exporting the problem track to the audio depot and then importing it back to another track (verify it plays there) - then exporting to audio depot again and copy/paste to your computer drive and attempt to play?

Just my 2c...
Are you using the latest firmware?
When you select the track for exporting, does the size indicator show anything? (You should see the total size of the selected files and the available space).
Is the AudioDepot folder empty when you start the export? (can be confusing if it already contains lots of files with truncated names - the numbers shown are not necessarily the track numbers).

Thanks for the help and suggestions everyone.

I deleted everything in the audiodepot folder and exported the track to it again and put it once more onto my computer and into Logic and the track does contain the audio. I think it was an issue with Logic or my computer. I have no idea what happened but it’s fine now. These are the kind of issues I’ve had with computers my entire life lol. Now I’m finally ready to begin mixing my album.

Oh, all of the audiodepot files had information in them, I did take a look, I never put any blanks tracks in there, in fact I used every single track on this machine.
