Copying a Song

So, you have recorded a bunch of tracks (in my case all 10 in the model 12) and you want to start playing around with bounces and doing mixdowns.

Now, wouldn't it be nice if there was a copy song function?

Unless I am missing something, there is of course the long way to do this... ho-hum. Go to storage mode, copy everything over to the PC, create new song (version 2 of whatever your doing) and then, import everything back in to the new song.

Tedious.

Feature request time if there is not a way to do this. I really don't want to risk messing up the song version 1

Can you not just Copy/Paste/Rename the entire song folder on the PC?

I'll give it a go - I'm not entirely sure how the machine reacts to having files re-named. It would also be nice if this function could be done entirely without the use of a computer though.

The Model series was designed from the ground up to be dependent on a computer. Only the Portastudio was designed to be fully standalone.
